LouAnn specializes in auditing, reviews, compilations and consulting of nonpublic companies, nonprofit entities, and employee benefit plans. LouAnn also provides business advisory services, including tax planning and compliance, QuickBooks setup, and business valuations. LouAnn is the managing member of the firm and oversees all engagements performed for her clients. LouAnn worked with two other local firms for 14 years before starting her own firm in 1997. LouAnn joined forces with Bill Hughes in 1999 and formed Hughes, Wedgwood & Company, LLC. LouAnn is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She is licensed to practice in Colorado.

Bill has been actively involved in the public accounting industry for over twenty years. He founded Hughes, Wedgwood, and Company, LLC with Louann Wedgwood in 1999. Prior to the formation of his firm, he served as senior member of a CPA firm specializing in the construction industry. Subsequently, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for a major mechanical contracting firm. Bill is well versed in the tax laws and accounting requirements that are unique to closely held businesses, high net worth individuals, and the construction and other industries. Bill has maintained a leadership position in the industry as a member of CCA Associates Board of Directors, ABC Board of Directors, Legislative Committee Chair, and PAC Chair of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). In his free time, Bill enjoys donating his time to youth sports, in addition to participating in a variety of outdoor activities.

Prior to joining the firm, Bill was Shareholder and President of William Patterson and Associates, PC. For 32 years his firm provided small business consulting, tax, accounting and litigation support to a wide spectrum of small business clients in the Denver metro area and Rocky Mountain region. Before starting his own firm, Bill was the Chief Financial Officer and acting administrator for Rocky Mountain Hospital and senior auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. in Los Angeles.

As an expert witness Bill specializes in the area of business analysis and evaluation, including related auditing, accounting, cash flow and income tax issues. He also has been engaged to assist with business valuation and projecting and discounting future income and earnings. Bill is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

Toni specializes in tax planning, entity structure, tax preparation, and consulting for small businesses and high net worth individuals in the Rocky Mountain region. Toni is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado.
